Filr 1.2 Hot Patch 3 provides compatibility of the desktop client with Mac OSX 10.11 (El Capitan). The Filr desktop client had to be updated due to changes in some of the Mac OSX frameworks (such as the Finder Plugin). These issues are fixed with Filr 1.2 Hot Patch 3, which is available for download here.
Please, read the information about system requirements, notes and installation carefully:
“This patch should only be applied to a site that is currently on:
Novell Filr Appliance Version: 1.2.0.852
This patch requires that your site is patched with ‘Filr 1.2 – Hot Patch 2‘.
This patch is NOT applicable to the Filr Search or Filr MySQL appliances in a Large Filr deployment.
This patch resolves the Mac OSX 10.11 (El Capitan) compatibility issue.”
