Novell Filr – Version 1.0.1 available

There is a new Filr version available for download. You can find it at Novell’s website in the Service & Support section in the category Downloads – or you just follow this direct link.

Key features of Filr 1.0.1 for users:

  • Share files and folders from the Filr mobile apps when using the Filr 1.0.2 Mobile Apps

For administrators:

  • Xen and Hyper-V are now supported hypervisors, in addition to VMware
  • Improved Net Folder sync performance
  • Support for MobileIron when using the Filr 1.0.2 Mobile Apps

Additionally, Filr is now certified to NetApp, EMC, and other Microsoft Active Directory joined NAS devices that support the CIFS and SMB version 1 protocols.
