Im Micro Focus Download Bereich sind neue Versionen von Vibe Desktop, Vibe Add-in for Office und Vibe Edit-In-Place verfügbar. Informationen zur Installation sind auch in der Vibe Dokumentation erhältlich.
Neuerungen in Vibe 4.0.5
- Die Downloadseite für Client-Anwendungen direkt aus Vibe heraus wurde überarbeitet
- Der Schutz gegen Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) ist nun standardmäßig eingeschaltet
- Das Java Applet für die Funktion „diese Datei bearbeiten“ wurde ersetzt durch eine Betriebssystemspezifische Client-Software
- Das Java Applet für den Datei-Upload in Einträgen wurde durch HTML5-basierte Technik ersetzt
- Als Java Runtime für den server wird nun OpenJDK mitgeliefert, ein anderes JRE ist nicht mehr nötig
- Die Oracle Stellent Outside In-Dateibetrachter und Text-Indizierung wurden ersetzt durch KeyView, ein Micro Focus Produkt
- Das Java Applet im Workflow Designer wurde ersetzt durch HTML5/SVG-Technologie
- SLES 15 ist nunr eine supportete Plattform

- 998173 Wiki and Photo Albums Add Files still uses the applet uploader
- 998854 Profile Pictues, with COSMOGIAI, are shown broken for external users who do not have COSMOGIAI
- 1028519 Firefox 52 disables applets – workflow viewer and file upload fail silently!
