In Vibe 4.0.3 we have experienced a couple of issues, some of them you might have encountered as well after upgrading to Vibe’s latest version.

Since we found those issues and reported them to Micro Focus directly, a fix could be created and an FTF is now available which addresses those bugs – amongst others – and can be received by customers through submitting a Service Request with Micro Focus Support.

Fixed issues in FTF3 for Vibe 4.0.3 are:

  • TID 7022142 – Using Vibe 4.0.3 markup to create a link to a new (nonexisting) entry results in HTTP Status 400 error
  • TID 7022141 – When copying a folder in Vibe the default folder column settings are lost in the newly copied folder
  • TID 7022140 – Copying a Blog folder with entries that have the same file attachments fails with a SQL error in Vibe 4.x
  • TID 7022139 – Edit applet does not work with Vibe and gives error “java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: org.kablink.teaming.applets.fileopen.FileOpen” when Keyshield SSO is enabled
  • TID 7021404 – Deleted comments in Vibe are restored when an entry is copied
  • TID 7021407 – Workflow ACLs on entry comments not honored when using “Send e-mail to contributors”
  • TID 7021219 – Entry type changes if item is copied from one folder to another
  • TID 7021220 – Workflow access rights of individual comments are not honored when viewing a folder entry

On behalf of our customers we want to thank Micro Focus` developers, engineers and support staff for their hard work on the reported issues and for providing a quick fix.

Feel free to contact us for more info on the TIDs addressed in this fix and for support requesting or applying this FTF if needed.
