„Novell Messenger 3.0 Support Pack 1 has been released. Please be aware that there are security fixes to Messenger’s server and client components (see the change log below and the Readme documentation on the web). It is recommended that they are updated on an expedited basis.“
Was wurde angepasst in Novell Messenger 3.0 Support Pack 1:
- SSL Verbindung: Messenger erfordert nun sichere Verbindungen, mit Ausnahme von Verbindungen zum eDirectory. Sie können entweder ein öffentlich signiertes Zertifikat verwenden oder das Server-Zetrifikat wird von Messenger während der Installation erstellt.
- Bearbeiten der SSL Cipher Suite: Sie können die SSL Cipher Suite (Chiffrensammlung) für Messenger bearbeiten. Das bedeutet, dass Sie bestimmte Cipher Suites deaktivieren können.
- PIN Verschlüsselung für iOS und Andriod Apps: Die Messenger App kann nun mit PIN gesperrt werden. Neben der Benutzung von PIN kann die App auch via iOS TouchID entsperrt werden.
- Benutzerdefinierter Status für iOS und Andriod Apps: Sie können nun Ihren benutzerdefinierten Status in der App erstellen und bearbeiten.
- MobileIron Support: Sie können Informationen wie Server, Port, Benutzernamen und Passwort für die Apps mit MobileIron verteilen und konfigurieren.
